"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Well...I'm just somebody from a country probably far far away from yours. I love to draw - pencil is my favorite, but i try many different things. Critique is very welcome here. At the moment I work as a graphic designer at a company resident in vienna. I love Horror and Sci-fi from all around the globe. Also i have a weak spot for B-Movies, Comics and stuff like that.
Well its been a while since my last journal, so i thought it's time for an update. As you maybe know i'm working at a graphic-design agency for almost 3 months now and it is still great fun and i STILL learn many new things every day (i wonder when this will be over and everything goes routine). This weekend the new campaign for Burgerking (Austria/Swisserland) started and its SO exiting when the stuff you yourself worked on for some time finally is out there for everybody to see…and people talk about it! Its not the first time for me, but Burgerking is a big fish so its kinda special, even if I don't like Burgerking-Food at all…or the idea behind it (I'm vegetarian btw.), but work is work ya know ;D
I can't post a bigger picture because I don't own anything here, the picture of the girl was taken by Manfred Baumann and the rest belongs to Burgerking of course. (Even if i illustrate something for my agency they have the copyright) I mainly worked on the background and scene. You have to know, build up the picture and Logos is just a small part of the work behind such a campaign. After all we have to use it in many different formats (example: A1 Poster, Printed-Commercial in magazines and stuff or Instore-decor) and all those things have to be made by working-slaves -> My Colleges and me. This takes 3-4 Weeks normally. We are already finished with the next campaign for spring.
Yaaa. That's it so far. Sadly my job eats most of my time and there is no much free-time left for private paintings and stuff ;_; But thats life and it could be worse ;D
